I have visited the places described in the book many times, and the main attractions that led me to include them have not changed. However, each time I went back some little detail had altered, especially opening hours. Several local restaurants closed down while I was researching the original edition of the guide and had to be excluded, but new ones have also opened up since then and have been included in the 2008 edition. |
I am most grateful to the readers who drew my attention to these changes, and of course to those who simply wrote to say how much they had enjoyed a particular visit and why. Your feedback and suggestions are very helpful to me and to other readers. I will post details of any changes that I have checked on the Updates to visits page.
